Brian Tombleson, General
Manager & Consultant
E-mail
With a background in computing and engineering, Brian started offering
services in IT development and implementation consulting in 1994.
He worked with a number of companies on implementation of LAN/WAN
technologies and information systems re-structuring. He has experience
with all manner of PC and small network hardware, development of
object libraries, applications, data conversion, ISP operations,
data automation and software development.
Prior to ParadigmIT, Brian spent over 3 years working in Myanmar.
The experience there was a strange and diverse one. His title of
Operations Manager with The Eagle Group Of Companies and Netmail
involved all aspects of network planning, installation, configuration
and support, VSAT support, significant customisation of Linux Internet
servers, significant input into the management of the company, management
and training of over 20 technical staff and providing Internet services
to dial-up clients in a third world nation with stringent policies
on information technology.
His experience in mplementing modern IT in a third world nation
is comprehensive, so if you need any help here, be sure to ask.
With this knowledge and experience, Brian returned to Australia
with a determination to provide the best service in the IT industry.
Lacking in the Autralian domestic market (he believes) is any desire
for the providers (the working in the industry and providing so-called
solutions) to actually help the clients in improving their business.
The industry has been deteriorating over the past 10 years into
a sales/hype driven bag of buzz-words and most systems already implemented
help immensley in learning catch-phrases but do little of benefit
to the customer. We will be different. We are different.
He hopes to build on what ParadigmIT has become and develop it into
a greater recognized and successful West Australian company.

In 1996 Kristian graduated from Curtin University, where he had
studied Communication and Cultural Studies with a major in Creative
Writing. He developed a high level of familiarity with all forms
of writing - technical reports, advertising copy, reviews, critiques,
journalism, fiction, poetry, ficto-criticism and literary essays.

In 1999 he gained a Certificate IV in Electronic Publishing, which
started the growth of his skills as a graphic designer and web developer.
His increasing interest in these fields lead him to complete another
Certificate IV in Multimedia Technologies from AMTC. He gained an
extensive knowledge of HTML, Adobe, Macromedia and Dreamweaver applications.
His personal interest in image manipulation was expanded during
this time as he applied what he learned in several artistic projects
in conjunction with local artists.
Since 2000 he has been contracted by Paradigm IT Consulting as a
graphic designer, web content administrator and as a web developer.
